Chocolate Self Saucing Pudding

INGREDIENTS
Pudding
100g butter, softened
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 1/4 cups plain flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp cocoa
2 cups boiling water
Sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp cornflour
1/4 cup cocoa

METHOD
Pudding
Beat butter, sugar, egg and vanilla together.
Sift flour, baking powder and cocoa together.
Fold into beaten mixture.
Spoon mixture into a greased ovenproof dish.
Sprinkle sauce mixture over.
Carefully pour boiling water over the back of a spoon onto the pudding.
Bake at 180C for 35 minutes or until pudding springs back when lightly touched.
Sauce
Carefully combine all ingredients.
